1. L'Oréal - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara
This is a great dupe for the Too Faced – Better Than Sex Mascara. The brush itself allows for a buildable application and applies an even amount of product to coat your lashes. It does tend to clump, which can create a heavy look; however this helps to add volume to your eyes and is definitely a top option for glamorous mascaras.
2. Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara
A lot like the L'Oréal - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara, the brushes shapes and formula are similar. Although this mascara is phenomenal, the formula itself tends to flake off throughout the day if you’re in an area with high heat/humidity. This can be easily countered however by using a lash primer to secure the mascara for a lasting finish.
3. Essence - Lash Princess False Lash Mascara
For the price point, this mascara is definitely a gem! The brush shape works well as it helps build up lash volume, and easily works through lashes. The black pigment is intense and helps lashes look plump. The only downside is that initially upon first using the product; the formula is quite wet. If you allow the mascara a week or two to settle-in (by pumping oxygen into the mascara tube upon every application) this will in turn create a more paste like consistency, for easier adhesion to your lashes.
4. L'Oréal – Voluminous Mascara
A longtime favorite, this mascara is bound to get the job done effortlessly. The formula coats the lashes, and has buildable coverage. With this mascara, I find that you get less clumpy lashes, but less volume than the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Mascara. The staying power however is definitely a huge plus.
5. Wet n Wild - Lash-O-Matic Mascara+Fiber Extension Kit
This mascara is a recent discovery and has truly made a big difference in the appearance of my lashes. At first it seems like quite a bit of work to apply the mascara, the fibers, and then the mascara again- however when you see how full and beautiful your lashes will look. You will be in love. Just a cautionary note; the fibers have the tendency to fly around, so be sure to coat your lashes carefully, trying to avoid getting some in your eye!
