Ciate London introduced a limited edition mini set of the Glitter Flip liquid lipsticks. The shades included are Candy and the limited edition Holographic shade Infamous. Essentially upon application of this liquid lipstick, by pressing your lips together, a metallic-matte liquid lipstick transforms into glitter! It takes away the mess and the hassle of trying to apply glitter to your lips via a loose glitter pigment.
The formula has wonderful pigmentation, is non-drying and very comfortable to wear on the lips throughout the day. The creative and innovative technology behind the Glitter Flip is very fun and adds sparkle to any look. I love buying mini sets as they allow me to try out various colors without putting in a hefty investment into just 1 product.
Value This set retails for $15 USD, which is $7.50 USD per each lipstick. Each lipstick comes with 1.47 ml which is a very decent amount of product. 2 of the minis would roughly equate to the size of 1 full size lipstick, which retails for $19 USD. Overall, this is a great value as most likely you won’t be running out of these too quickly, unless glitter lips is your everyday look.
Pigmentation I was very shocked as to how well pigmented these liquid lipsticks are. The formula is on the thinner side but it does wonders in terms of lip coverage. I am interested to check out more liquid lipsticks from Ciate as a result of trying this adorable Glitter Flip set.
Blendability Once these are applied, they dry down pretty quickly. I would definitely blend these our and ensure that application is precise by using a lip liner when needed.
Longevity These won’t budge all day, and they are not drying at all. I am very impressed with how long lasting these are… no complaints from me!
Packaging Very cute packaging and the lip sizes are perfect for throwing into your purse for a night out or for travelling.
Final thoughts: I am completely in love with the formula, and have thoroughly enjoyed the vivacious colors and cute micro-glitters. I look forward to the future Ciate sets, as this is wonderful opportunity to try out the colors and formulas. If you’re not a glitter fan you should probably steer clear, but if you’re a glitter fanatic such as myself, you’ll be very happy no doubt!
