The theme of October’s Boxycharm is Alter Ego. In this month’s Boxycharm I received the following items:
PUR - THE COMPLEXION AUTHORITY – MIDNIGHT MASQUERADE PALETTE ($38 USD)
Limited edition, 10 piece face palette with four, shimmery face powders and six eyeshadows that compliment all skin tones and eye colors.
The colors in this palette are very pretty, daring and certainly exciting for the holiday season. The pigmentation on certain colors is buttery, while a bit lack luster on some. This isn’t my favorite Boxycharm palette that we have received, but it is a good one to add to the collection.
IT COSMETICS – SUPERHERO ELASTIC STRETCH VOLUMIZING MASCARA ($24 USD)
Wrap your lashes in lengthening, volume boosting and ultra-conditioning formula.
I was very excited to receive this item! I have heard great things, and after trying this mascara, I can easily say that the formula is ultra-black, stays on all day and seperates the lashes. I love the amount of volume that I get from just one coat of mascara.
FARMACY BEAUTY – GREEN CLEAN ($22 USD)
Cleansing balm to melt away your makeup.
This is a beautiful makeup remover, and the scent is honestly delicious, like a lemon-lime popsicle! It takes off makeup well and I didn’t know about this brand prior to receiving this in my Boxy this month.
DERMOVIA - LACE A PEEL BLACK BAMBOO CHARCOAL PEEL OFF MASK ($30 USD)
The detoxifying Charcoal Peel Paste and Lace Compression Mask offers spa-like extraction results.
I love the idea of the lace, and peels off masks always do a great job of extracting any buildup of oil and dirt in your pores. Dermovia is a brand I have never heard of, so I was happy to try it out.
KAT VON D – EVERLASTING LIQUID LIPSTICK in Lolita ($20 USD
Enjoy a smooth, creamy, lightweight liquid lipstick that stays on all day long. The highly pigmented, vegan and cruelty free formula coats your lips in just one swipe.
I really enjoyed this formula, although I found the color too dark, and the application patchy at times. I wish that the shade was a bit lighter, but overall a really fun addition to my lippies.

Final thoughts
I really thought that this Boxy was a great combination of products to try! I am a big fan of the Superhero Mascara from IT cosmetics, and I enjoyed trying out the Pharmacy cleansing balm the most. As Boxy learns the preferences of their subscribers using the beauty test available on their website, it will help to create more customizable boxes. If my Kat Von D lipstick was a shade or 2 lighter, this box would be a huge success in my eyes. Based on the sneak peaks of November’s box, I can’t wait to share my review with you then.
