Boxycharm is a $21 USD ($21 USD+$5 USD for shipping to Canada) monthly subscription service, where you will receive 4 to 5 full size beauty items. They range from makeup, to skincare to beauty tools. The minimum value of each box is $100 USD. Recently Boxycharm introduced the BoxyLuxe, which comes with a minimum of 10 products, with a minimum retail value of $250! The theme of September’s Boxycharm/BoxyLuxe is Wild Flower. In this month’s BoxyLuxe I received the following items:

The Vintage Cosmetic Company – Dolly Bow Make-up Headband ($4.99 USD)

Elevate your beauty routine with your new, stretchy, vintage-inspired, headband.

This is one of the cutest pink polka dot headbands that I have seen. The big bow is adorable, and the fuzzy texture is not only soft, but it is also washer and dryer proof. I do like it, but I found it to be a little tight on my head… I will stretch it out a bit and go from there.

Tarte Cosmetics – Park Ave Princess Chisel Palette ($45 USD)

This Amazonian clay infused bronzer bar comes with six bronzing and highlighting powders.

These powders are absolutely gorgeous. There is a range of mattes and shimmers and they are very pigmented and long lasting. I found them easy to blend, and they did not look harsh in natural light. I really enjoyed getting this item in my BoxyLuxe.

Sol De Janiero – Ipanema Sunset Glow Oil ($35 USD)

Enhance your skin’s natural glow with the Ipanema Sunset Glow Oil.

It was nice to get this sort of product in a beauty subscription. With fall coming, I am not so sure that it was the perfect timing for a glow oil, as this is more of a summer goodie. Other than that, it smells lovely and has a beautiful natural sheen to it.

Smashbox Cosmetics – Limited Edition Photo Finish Primer Water ($32 USD)

This 3-in-1 primer and setting spray hydrates, preps and refreshes the skin.

This primer is really refreshing and has definitely made my makeup set well. I enjoy the smell of the forest vibes. I got the Serene Greens one, and I am very happy with the performance and the fragrance.

R+Co – Death Valley Dry Shampoo, Travel Size ($17 USD)

Add instant volume and thickness to your hair with your new R+Co dry shampoo.

This is a lovely travel size and there is enough product in there for a few dry washes. The scent is lovely and not over powering, and I would probably purchase the full size in the future.

Juice Beauty – Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer ($70 USD)

Moisturize with a blend of stem cells infused Vitamin C and resveratrol-rich grape formula.

This is probably one of my favorite items in the box this month! The smell of this moisturizer reminds me of cotton candy bubble gum with a hint of citrus! I truly love putting this on, it isn’t sticky, moisturizer and is easy to apply foundation over. A++.

Luxie – 732 Airbrush Foundation Brush ($38 USD)

Create a flawless finish with your new Luxie 732 Airbrush Foundation.

This brush is not only gorgeous, but it is also ergonomic, with its’ crafted handle that allow for a nice grip. The bristles are soft and it applies foundation well. This is my first Luxie brush and I must say I am enjoying it.

Pretty Vulgar – Nightingale Smokey Eyeshadow Palette ($42 USD)

Made up of 12 highly pigmented shades, the Nightingale palette is sure to help you create your best looks.

This palette is the perfect choice for fall. Neutrals and smokey vibes, with both shimmers and mattes. I think that this palette is a great addition to my palette collection.

Violet Voss – Liquid Lipstick ($42 USD)

This liquid lipstick formula offers high pigmentation and radiance that does not budge.

This formula and this color… wow! I mean, I have been getting compliments for weeks now! I discovered a new brand, and a new liquid lipstick- so I’m happy!

Alamar Cosmetics – Ojitos Brush Set ($18 USD)

Made with 100% synthetic fibers, these brushes are extremely soft, durable and essential to your brush collection.

These are beautiful brushes, and makeup application is easy and smooth using them. I wouldn’t say they are my favorite, but I love adding new brushes to my collection.

Laura Geller – Baked Blush – N - Brighten ($28 USD)

Add a gorgeous, glowy flush to your cheeks with this baked blush.

I never typically wear blush, but this is more of a luminous rosey highlight. I love how natural and glowey this product is. I really enjoyed trying it out.

Boxycharm Tote (Priceless)

A black tote bag with “totes a charmer” written on it in white letters.

Very cute and a nice addition. Great for carrying your groceries in or for storage.

Total Value: $334.99 USD

Cost Per Item: $4.17 USD

Total September Savings: $285 USD

Final thoughts

I LOVE BoxyLuxe and in my opinion it is completely worth the investment! The amount of products (all full size, minus the travel size dry shampoo) that you get to try out, for the price is fantastic. I love the surprise, and I enjoy trying out new brands, or expensive brands that I typically wouldn’t have tried out otherwise. I am very much looking forward to December’s BoxyLuxe.
